Careers

Being a carer is not glamorous, it’s definitely not easy and can be undervalued by the larger public but it could be one of the most rewarding jobs you ever do.

Many have no perception of the skills and knowledge expected of care and support workers but really that does not matter, you know, we know and more importantly those people you visit each day, they know.

So if you want to make a difference every day you go to work, to have the opportunity to then take those skills you’ve learnt and further your career into nursing, general practice or social work to name a few then home care is the way forward. A job in care certainly offers challenges beyond your imagination, and the need for a sense of humour is paramount.
